Vera Lovelady

Vera Dene Lovelady, age 73 of Erin, TN, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

There was a celebration of Life Service on Saturday June 8, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Stanford officiating. Interment followed at McMillian Cemetery in Erin. The family received friends on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

Vera was born to the late Fredrick Foster and Elsie Keeton Foster on July 23, 1950 in Onieda, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her dear husband; James Lovelady, her brothers; Jack Foster, Phillip Foster, Fred Foster, Leslie Foster, and Doug Foster.

She leaves behind her dear children: Mark Edward Carpenter, Teresa Lynn Cook (Stan), and Crystal Dawn Dew (Dwayne). Vera also leaves behind her sisters: Lee Lewis, Ann Cichewicz, Debbie Holmes, and Nelda Wallace. She also leaves behind her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
