Sharon Gail McKinney (Gail)

Sharon Gail McKinney, 80, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Gail was born November 9, 1943, in Muhlenberg County. She loved going to church. She was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church for many years. She was a homemaker, and was a Head Start teacher while living in Erin, TN. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby McKinney; parents, James and Lillian Harper; brothers, Terry Harper and Bud Harper; and sister, Sandy Bartlett.

She is survived by her daughter, Ali McKinney of Greenville; sons, Isiah McKinney of Greenville and Wayne McKinney of Indian Mound, TN; brothers, Tony (Charlene) Harper of Central City and Jerry (Glenda) Harper of Indiana; sister, Judy (Brandon) Ford of Drakesboro; grandchildren, Caleb McKinney and Kyle McKinney; great-grandchildren, Isaiah McKinney, Elizabeth McKinney, Aliza McKinney, and Riley McKinney; and great-great-grandchild, Olivia Vick.

Funeral service was held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, KY with Rev. Ryan Miller officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
