Marion Osborne Meadows, age 87 formerly of Erin, TN, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at his home in Clarksville, TN while surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life Service was held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating. Burial followed in the Crossroads Community Cemetery.
The Meadows family received friends on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon.
Marion entered this life on April 19, 1937 in Erin, TN, son to the late Clyde Dale Meadows and Mary Osborne Meadows. At the age of 17, Marion joined the United States Navy where he faithfully served his country for 4 years.
In addition to his parents, Marion was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, JoAnn Adams Meadows; siblings, Billy (Norma) Meadows, Jeri Claire Meadows-Swartz, and Sophia Jean (Thomas) Clark.
Survivors include his loving daughters, Sherry (Albert) McCarty, Sandra Parchman (Bill Poteet), Melisssa Meadows (Clif) Sites, Kathy (David) Britt; Marion also leaves behind several precious grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
