Erin, TN - James Grey Hutchinson, 74, died April 9, 2025, peacefully at home in Erin, TN. James was born January 18, 1951 in Dover, TN to James Henry Hutchinson and Eddie Rose Harrison Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Russell Wayne Harrison.
James is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Lou (Ross) Hutchinson; Son: Tommie (Vickie) Hutchinson; Daughter: Kristina (Bubba) Hutchinson; Grandchildren: Tyler (Piper) Hutchinson, Dylan (Katlyn) Hutchinson, Trevor (Tara) Hutchinson, Blake (Christine) Smith, Braden (Shannon) Smith, Jaylen Shatto; Great-Grandchildren: Brilee Ann Hutchinson, Elly Mae Hutchinson, Presleigh Albright, Madison Humphreys, Mallory Dee Hutchinson; Granddogs: Maverick, Bluey, Banks; and several nieces and nephews.
Jim loved hot rods and motorcycles and making wrecked vehicles look perfect again for over 40 years. He worked hard to take care of his family and to spoil his six grandsons.
James requested no formal services and donated his body to Vanderbilt's Anatomical Donation Program. When they are through studying his body, his cremated remains will be returned to the family.
