George Percy Williams (Percy)

Erin, Tennessee - George Percy Williams, age 77, of Erin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on October 7, 1947, Percy was the son of the late Thomas Alton Williams and Ruth Ross Williams.

Percy lived a life rooted in family, hard work, and quiet strength. He is survived by his devoted wife of almost 55 years, Cindy Meyer Williams of Erin, Tennessee; two sons, Drew (Kristi) Williams of Paris, Tennessee, and Lake (Tin) Williams of Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee; and his daughter, Courtney (Edward) Williams-Theis; and his grandchildren, Kenzie Grace (Kyle) Jackson of Paris, Tennessee, Sawyer Williams of McKenzie, Tennessee, and Canyon Williams of Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee. He is also survived by his brothers, Bobby Neal Williams of Nashville, Tennessee and Earl Williams of Erin, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ray Williams.

Percy was a man of integrity, known for his steady presence, warm heart, sense of humor, and amazing smile. He found joy in the simple things—time with his family, the beauty of the outdoors, and the comfort of home. He left a legacy of love, loyalty, and resilience that will live on through the lives of those he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Erin Baptist Church at 4606 West Main Street, Erin, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 9:30-11am. Services will begin at 11am with graveside service to follow.
