Essie Maria Jones

Essie Marie Jones, age 88 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

There was a celebration of Life Service on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. David Averitt officiating, interment followed at Cumberland City Cemetery. The family received friends Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home and again on Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

Marie was born to the late Ralph Fred Todd and Eula S. Keen in Crosville, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her dear husband; William Thomas Jones.

She leaves behind her dear children; Terry Jones, Freddy Jones, and Sandy Ashley. Essie also leaves behind her four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
